Dr. Andrew Padmos joined the Royal College as the new CEO on September 1, 2006. Dr. Padmos comes to the College from Halifax, Nova Scotia, where, from 1998, he was commissioner of Cancer Care Nova Scotia, head of the Cancer Care Program at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, associate dean for cancer programs in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University

Dr. Neil Hagen completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Alberta followed by two years of internal medicine at McGill University, Adult Neurology residency training at the Mayo Clinic, and a fellowship in Neuro-oncology and Cancer Pain at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.

Rina grew up in Montreal and holds an Honours B.Sc. in Nutritional Science from McGill University. Rina has been with Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) for 3 ½ years. As Health Promotion Manager she leads the strategic development and implementation of the Aboriginal Unit’s provincial colorectal cancer education initiative for Aboriginal health care workers. She also has active involvement in the development of Ontario’s Aboriginal Cancer Strategy.

Title: DVD to educate Nurses on PICCs and PORTs in remote and rural communities
Mary graduated from Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing in Calgary in 1972. Always a bedside nurse, after completing postgraduate studies in Intensive/Coronary Care at University Hospital Edmonton she worked primarily in cardiac ICU.
