Dr. Brian Weinerman graduated medicine in the last century or perhaps the one before. He apparently studied Medicine in Manitoba where he allegedly received his license and did post graduate internal medicine and oncology at Barnes Hospital (Washington University) in St. Louis Mo.

I was born and raised in Ontario. I did my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and then attended the University of Western Ontario for Medicine. I graduated medical school in 1985 and then did post-graduate training at Queen’s University and Princess Margaret Hospital.

Title: The 'ins and outs' of getting a Telemedicine Program Established
Janice MacDonald graduated as an RN in 1980 and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1997 in between working, running, hiking, skiing, traveling and raising two boys. As a Patient Care Co-coordinator, Janice was involved in the transition of the Kamloops Cancer Clinic private practice to a partnership agreement with the BC Cancer Agency in 2003.

Title: The 'ins and outs' of getting a Telemedicine Program Established
Marilyn is Clinical Director, Systemic Program at British Columbia Cancer Agency - Cancer Center for the Southern Interior. In that role Marilyn supports the Community Oncology Site in the Southern and Northern Interior of BC. She has worked with various communities to implement telehealth services as an alternate way to deliver health care.

It provides opportunities for those who have experienced cancer to provide valuable insight and reflection about ways to strengthen the cancer system.

Title: Implementing Telepharmacy in a Community Cancer Network - The Alberta Experience
Lee graduated from Pharmacy at the University of Alberta in 1979. After initially practicing in a community setting he transitioned to the Lethbridge Cancer Center in 1989.
In 2006 he completed a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of Montana: Missoula.

RN (Manitoba), BV, Clinical Nurse Specialist
Title: Canadian Virtual Hospice: Pioneering eCommunication in Palliative Care
Lisa Streeter, RN (Manitoba), BN, Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Canadian Virtual Hospice (CVH) has devoted her nursing career to oncology and palliative care. In 2006, she joined the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Palliative Care Program and the Canadian Virtual Hospice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Presenter - Cathy Duong
Clinical Leader of Provincial Program Development, Alberta Health Services
Title: Remote oncology monitoring to support delivery of home chemotherapy.
Cathy Duong graduated from the University of Alberta Pharmacy Faculty in 1992 and also completed a pharmaceutical industry studentship and hospital residency. After graduation, she worked in the community and various hospital settings such as emergency, coronary, surgical and acute care.
